breigh, a New York City Singer/Songwriter, is set to release her debut album this summer. She appeared on the scene in 2023 with the release of her debut single, m.i.a., followed by the release of the two singles, Stupid, Reckless and Jumpscares. While this may be the beginning of her public music career, Breigh is no stranger to the NYC music scene. She began singing and songwriting at a young age, garnering consistent attention from onlookers and A&R alike. She continued her musical pursuits throughout her late teens and into early adult years, studying at Purchase College under the tutelage of experienced industry professionals. Inspired by her musical role models, Kate Bush, Taylor Swift, and Imogen Heap, Breigh links herself with pop culture through dynamic melodies and story-driven lyricism. In her writing, one may hear subtle references to pop-culture moments from both her early days and today, inspiring the creation of her unique self-aware sound. She used her EP “Manifestations of a Pop Star” to paint the picture of a young artist’s journey to becoming a pop sensation. The “pop-star” (breigh) follows her light, eventually leading her into the spotlight. Like a star, Breigh reflects light, and through her music, she encourages others to look at their own reflection, recognize their light, and follow it.
